How We Met

Hmm, how do we start this one? That God works in mysterious ways? Or that God is good ...all the time? Or that ... or ... okay, let's get on with this!

Gloria was supposed to help organize a party for the youth department of her, sorry, their church. Unfortunately (fortunately?) no single soul would volunteer to help her do that. It was a daunting undertaking by all standards. Okay, let's cut down on the big words and get on with this...

Interestingly, although Desmond and Gloria fellowshipped at the same church and belonged to the same department, they had not as much as exchanged a word or smile before. Hmmm.

So... where were we? Yes, back to the youth party story. Angel Desmond appeared from nowhere and not only did he come bearing smiles and words, he also volunteered to help Gloria put on the party. He was helpful indeed. So helpful that they became friends, then prayer partners, then .... then .... with the direction and grace of God, they have become man and wife. The End.
