How We Met

Sylvia and Gideon got introduced by a mutual friend of theirs.

They quickly found that they had a mutual fondness for walks.

One breezy evening, Sylvia and Gideon went out for a (romantic) walk under the bright moon-and-star-lit skies of the republic (sorry, city) of Tema. In the course their walk, they spotted a wine-coloured rope on a patch of grass. As if on cue, they both dashed for it, grabbing at different ends at the same time.

A little ownership struggle ensued (over the rope), necessitating a thug-of-war. Suddenly, the wisdom of (biblical King) Solomon came over Gideon, prompting him to propose that they (Sylvia and himself) tie a knot with the rope, a proposal to which Sylvia agreed.

So they tied the knot, ....so to speak.
